The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago ("District") requests proposals from any prospective Proposer for the above captioned subject which is described in document 25-RFP-18. The District is seeking two (2) environmental engineering consulting firms to provide professional services to the Site Remediation Section of the of the Law Department. These firms shall provide services on an as needed basis with assignment on a case-by-case basis as determined by the Law Department. All services are to be performed as directed by the Law Department. Two (2) firms may be selected to provide these services to avoid a potential conflict of interest. The Agreement term for the environmental engineering services will begin upon execution of an agreement and continue for a thirty-six (36) month period. The Contract is tentatively expected to begin on January 1, 2026 and will end approximately 36 months later. The total estimated cost for services requested under Proposal 25-RFP-18 is $1,200,000.00. The proposal calls for two (2) consulting firms to be awarded equal contracts ($600,000.00 per consultant), each for three (3) years of services ($200,000.00 in each year for each consultant). The Affirmative Action Goals for this Request for Proposal are 20% Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE), 10% Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), and 3% Veteran-owned Business Enterprises (VBE). The District reserves the right to accept any Request for Proposal or any part thereof or to reject any and all Request for Proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
