Site work and paving for a civil project in South Bethany, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project involves the placement of pervious pavement along portions of York Road, Carlisle Road and Plymouth Road. Work includes mobilization / demobilization, field engineering and surveying, maintenance of traffic, pervious asphalt paving, roadway milling for butt joints, pavement markings, detectable warning surfaces, erosion and sediment control, grading for positive drainage, and restorations. The Contractor shall begin work on or about November 1, 2025. The Contractor shall complete all work within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. For a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond, and Contractors Insurance are included in the Contract Documents. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and are encouraged to do so. The Town of South Bethany reserves the right to reject any or all bids and makes such award as appears most advantageous to the Town.
