Renovation of a fire / police facility in Nanuet, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The award of bid pursuant to this notice is subject to appropriation of funds for this purpose in accordance with the applicable provisions of the General Municipal Law. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable statues and have attached a statement of non-collusion. All documents submitted in connection with this bid will become the property of the Fire District and the Fire District will not return bids or bid documents. The lowest qualified bidder meeting the specifications will be awarded the bid. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to readvertise for same. Estimated Range $15,000-$30,000 Work to include: 1. Remove and dispose of old boilers. 2. Set new boilers. 3. Connect hydronic piping back to closely spaced tees. 4. Install new properly sized pumps for boilers. 5. Install required metal separators for boiler. 6. Connect gas, flue and combustion air piping. 7. Connect required electric and control wiring. 8. Start and test system. 9. Bidder to provide all applicable warranties. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
