Borough Building Renovation Questions Due Date: Oct 7th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT Any questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted online. Contract award on or before October 19, 2025 A bid bond for 10% of the base bid amount shall be provided with the bid. A performance & payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount shall be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of the award. Bids may be held by Matamoras Borough for a period not to exceed five (5) days from the date of Bid Opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. Matamoras Borough will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, reserving the right to waive any informality and accept or reject any and all Bids. The following Scope-of-Work is intended to supplement the project documents as prepared by Kiley Associates, LLC. This bid package includes construction work for renovation of the existing Borough Building. It also includes administrative and coordination responsibilities. All work indicated in the project documents is to be completed as in-scope without exception and includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Contractor is responsible for cleaning their work area of all debris which is generated because of their work on a daily basis. Debris removal is the responsibility of the contractor. o Provide all specified products and materials. o Coordination all work with other Contractor's working on site. o Protection of surrounding areas and existing items to remain. o All unloading/loading as required to complete this scope of work. All bids rejected o All deliveries and staging area shall be coordinated with the Owner so as not to disrupt the Owner's ongoing use of the premises. o Final cleaning of bid package work by each Contractor. o All building renovation work, as indicated in the contract documents. Work shall include the furnishing of all labor, equipment, tools, and materials required for renovation of the existing Borough building as required, all conforming to lines, grades, width and depth, indicated in the contract documents. o Pennsylvania state sales tax. o Comply with Public Work Contractor's Bond Law and Trade Practices Act. o Protection of surrounding area and existing items to remain by each Contractor. o Provide all accessories, supports and materials necessary to complete the intended work within this bid package and/or respective work scope. o Contractor is responsible for providing and paying for all temporary utilities o Contractors are responsible for the security of their own materials, equipment, and tools throughout the duration of the project o Each successful bidder will be required to comply with all Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act regulations including providing payroll certification.
