27 SOCES intends to engineer and revise PLC programs for the barrier system at Cannon AFB's main gate. The existing M238 MOOG PLCs will be retrofitted to operate using modern MicroLogix software, replacing the obsolete MODICON PLCs. After revising and installing the new programs on MicroLogix PLCs, a Field Engineer will travel to Cannon AFB to install the new components across five wedge barrier control panels. Following installation of the PLCs and I/O modules, the Field Engineer will perform debugging to ensure proper operation of the new control system. A final test and system turnover will be conducted before departure. Within four weeks of project completion, the vendor's Engineers will submit revised electrical drawings to the Cannon AFB point of contact. Location: Cannon Air Force Base, 200 W. Cannon Air Force Base requires services for upgrading the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) at both the inbound and outbound lanes at Cannon AFB Main gate. The work shall include expected savings and the execution cost of the mitigation measures. Provide labor to purchase and program 5 each PLC's with 16 inputs and 16 outputs. PLC's must be compatible with existing Global Grab (previously Smith and Wesson) electrically actuated Delta TT205 barrier retrofit kit. PLC's must be backwards and forward language compatible system with foreseeable future availability *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
