Capital Project, which includes: All work will take place at Linden Hill High School and Cedar Knolls Academy, involving the removal of existing roof-mounted chillers and dust collectors, followed by restoration of affected building envelope areas. New ground-mounted chillers will be installed, including concrete pads, fencing, and interior modifications to support the updated systems. Each bid shall be submitted on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: CONTRACTS Contract No. 01 General Construction Work Prime Contract (GC) Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. Bidder must provide Bid Security in the amount and form, per the terms indicated in Section Instructions to Bidders. A full performance bond, together with labor and material payment bonds in form acceptable to Owner shall be required of the successful Bidder for the full contract amount. The Hawthorne Cedar Knolls Union Free School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, and/ or to reject all Bids without explanation. This project is being delivered under a Multiple Prime Contract, which includes General Construction, Mechanical Construction, and Electrical Construction. The Owner reserves the right to seek reimbursement for temporary facilities not provided by this Prime Contract. 2) Project Foreman: GC shall provide at least one (1) full time Project Foreman during each shift of Work at each school; Foreman shall be able to make binding decisions, as they relate to the daily activities of their crew, as related to achieving the goals of the Project. 3) Site Communications: GC provide Project Superintendent with a mobile phone, all costs and service charges paid for by GC; provide the district with contact number(s). 4) Project Site Field Office: Provide site office facilities for this Contract's Project Superintendent.
