This RFQ is being issued on behalf of the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works for work related to the maintenance of its roads and highways network. Question Deadline 09/25/2025 The Province may not respond to questions or comments submitted within three (3) working days of the Letting. Any questions regarding interpretation of the Standard Specifications for a particular contract should be directed to the Engineer in charge of administering the contract. Scope of Work Supply and installation of various sizes of concrete culverts (750mm, 1200mm, 1500mm) Associated work includes: Excavation Gravel base (Type 1 & 2) Rip Rap placement Asphalt patching Guard rail installation/removal Quantities (approximate): Excavation: 1,210 m3 Gravel Type 1: 340 tonnes Gravel Type 2: 2,435 tonnes Rip Rap: 290 tonnes Asphalt: 110 tonnes Guard Rail Install: 150 m Guard Rail Remove: 150 m Concrete Pipe: 750mm: 40 m 1200mm: 42.5 m 1500mm: 20 m For all general inquiries please contact Procurement at 902-424-3333 or via email at ptenders@novascotia.ca.
