Cary is seeking one or more Qualified Firms to provide environmental management, hauling and disposal services for dried off-specification/non-pelletized biosolids, dewatered water treatment residuals, and dewatered biosolid cakes. The Town of Cary (Cary) is seeking one or more qualified firm(s) with which to contract services for the environmental management, hauling and disposal of the following residuals products from Cary's utility operations. Cary/Apex Water Treatment Facility o Drinking water treatment residuals in the form of dewatered cake Cary's Wastewater Treatment Facilities o Biosolids dryer off-specification and non-pelletized heat-dried biosolids o As needed, temporary dewatered cake biosolids from Western Wake Regional WRF and/or South Cary Water Reclamation Facility. The proposal shall include management, hauling and disposal of all forms (dried off specification/non-pelletized biosolids; dewatered water treatment residuals, and dewatered biosolids cake as available by prospective service providers). While Cary is interested in innovative disposal methods including Beneficial Reuse, it is not required for disposal management practices for this services contact. Firms offering innovative disposal methods should include them, and other disposal services such as landfilling, as part of your services portfolio in the proposal. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis through a Basic Services Agreement with not to-exceed cost ceilings for each service at each facility. Cary reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for any reason and to waive any informality it deems in its best interest. Any requirements in the RFP that cannot be met must be indicated in the proposal.
