The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as Owner, on behalf the Department of Public Safety, is seeking firms interested in providing Construction Manager/General Contractor Services for a project known as GPSTC-47, DPS Training Building and Range, Georgia Public Safety Training Center, Forsyth, Georgia Project Budget The preliminary Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) or construction cost of the Project is estimated at $11,700,000. Project Description: The Project will consist of a Training Building and Shooting Range. The project will include heavy civil work including extension of sewer line and significant grading work. It is expected that the building will include the following spaces: - Reception Area - 5 Command Offices - 3 Secretary Offices - 3 Judgmental Pistol Shooting Rooms - 20 Cubicles - Large Conference Room (20-25 people minimum) - Employee Breakroom with Kitchen - Restrooms w/1 shower in each to include lockers (staff area) - Copy room - Storage Room - Mechanical room - 2 larger Classrooms w/center removable wall (min 100 people each) - 2 smaller Classrooms w/ center removable wall (min 60 people each) - Restrooms to accommodate full classroom capacity - Gym - space for 75 adults with restrooms and small number of showers, 2-4 showers each Corner mat area 48x48 Equipment located on perimeter of gym Large storage space for loose equipment (bulk tactical, padded training equipment Laundry Room with Washer and Dryer The range will be a 200 yard outdoor range and is expected to include the following: - Covered range house with fans - Restrooms - Water bottle stations - Two story firing tower - Storage for all mechanical and control components - Appropriate berms - backstop and side berms between the new range and 100 yard rifle range - Minimum of 26 electrical turning targets - Concrete walkways and target pads - Sand pit on each side for steal targets - Gravel driveway down one side of range - From berm at target back to 50 yard marker, include gravel between concrete paths September 29, 2025 2:00 PM Deadline for written questions October 31, 2025 2:00 PM Deadline for written questions
