The City of Peachtree City will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the " Drake Field Pavillion Repair". This includes the following, with all related accessories as shown on the Construction Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications: Work of the Project includes replacing the main beams supporting the Drake Field Pavilion, as they are in poor condition, showing signs of rot and splitting. The entire wooden structure will also need to be seal-coated to prevent future rot. The Contractor will also need to provide Engineer stamped construction shoring design plans. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%%, and shall be subject to the conditions provided in Section 00 21 13 "Instruction to Bidders." The project shall be Substantially Complete within 60 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed of the contract. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $250.00 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Substantial Completion. The project shall be Final Complete within 30 calendar days beyond Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $250.00 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Final Completion. The City of Peachtree City will not accept pre-bid project questions within a period of 120 hours prior to the advertised time for opening bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Peachtree City Legal Holidays. Agreement will require a Payment Bond in the amount of 110%, and a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the project cost.
