Site work for a development in Peachtree City, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.

**As of December 17, 2025 , project has not been awarded yet, timeframe will be in 1/16/26". ** The City of Peachtree City is accepting sealed bids for Grinding or Grinding and Removal of Organic Matter at the Recycling Center. Bids must strictly conform to specifications and bid documents, with all details available on the Citys website. The City expects to enter into a contract for services, with the potential for annual extensions. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marking the project name, date, time of opening, and the bidder's company name. Bids must be legally signed by an authorized officer, and the principal place of business must be listed. Bids cannot be withdrawn for ninety days after the deadline. Requests for clarification must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Manager at least five business days before the bid deadline. Addenda will be issued no later than seventy-two hours before the deadline. The City reserves the right to bid in phases and award contracts accordingly, and will select the lowest, best, responsible, and/or responsive bidder, exercising discretion to meet City needs. The City may reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. Bidders or their subcontractors in arrears to the City or other governmental entities will not be accepted. Bids must be signed in a legal manner by a duly authorized officer, with the business address shown. The City of Peachtree City is soliciting bids from qualified firms for the grinding or grinding and removal of organic matter at the City's Recycling Center located at the corner of SR 74 and Rockaway Road. Grinding and Hauling clarifications: o The estimated cubic yard annually is 3-4 pulls per year with an estimated 2,000 cubic yards per pull. o Post grinding yardage will be measured by both the contractor and the City so there will be no question about the amount ground. o Previously the City has primarily referenced the measuring device on the machine. o For the City's past grinding agreement, the billing was based on post grinding. o The City's Public Works Superintendent or his appointed alternative will make the determination as to whether the material is hauled away or left or if only a percentage is hauled away. That decision is determined by what is in the best interest of the City Question Deadline 12/02/2025 Any request for clarification must be submitted in writing (email preferred aegan@peachtree-city.org) to the Purchasing Manager by the close of business, five business days prior to the submission of bids.
