The City of Garland has proposed improvements to the existing utilities including sewer and water lines along two subdivision roads: Sugarberry Lane between North Jupiter Road and Excalibur Road, and Emberwood Drive between Guthrie Road and Field Knoll Road. The sewer and water line upgrades will be followed by pavement reconstruction. This geotechnical study was performed to provide recommendations for pavement reconstruction and open cut excavation for the proposed utilities. The scope of this study, defined by LAN/City of Garland, included drilling and sampling one (1) boring SB-1 on Sugarberry Lane, and one (1) boring EB-1 Emberwood Drive, each drilled to a depth of 20 feet below the existing ground surface, performing laboratory testing and analyses, and providing pavement design recommendations.
