All work required to rehabilitate two (2) pre-stressed concrete ground storage tanks, including water blasting cleaning and coating the exterior surfaces of the dome roof, ring beam and tank wall and also water blasting the interior of the tanks and coating a portion of the interior tank floor, cove and wall. Proposals must be submitted on the Proposal forms provided and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in a penal sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Contract Price proposed. The security may be in the form of a Bid Bond furnished by a reliable surety company having authority under the laws of Texas to write surety bonds in the amount required, with such security made payable without recourse to the City. The final Notice of Award of Contract will be issued to the successful bidder by the City within sixty (60) days following the opening of bids and no bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after opening thereof. The successful Offeror must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company authorized by the State of Texas to act as surety. The City of Pflugerville reserves the rights to reject any and all offers and to waive any informalities in proposals received; to eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the total contract amount within the funds budgeted; the right to award any parts or combination of parts of the Project it deems necessary; and any other rights established under the laws of the State of Texas.
