Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Glenville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 25,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project will be bid under a Single Prime Contract. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Phase 2 shell and interior fit-out work for a new Health and Wellness facility. Scope shall include construction of an approximately 25,000 square foot two-story structure with immediate site and utility work. Facility includes classrooms and labs as well as ancillary offices and support areas. Services are expected to commence immediately. A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of Bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to Glenville State University in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base Bid. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the state and will comply with the WV Act on Wages for Public Improvements. All Contractors and their subcontractors must verify their current compliancy status with the Department of Labor and Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Division. During this conference, the Contract Documents shall be reviewed and any questions concerning the project shall be entertained. Discrepancies, conflicts and/or unclear items shall be brought to the attention of the Architect at this time for clarification. The Owner, by this meeting, reserves the right to refuse any request for an Extra from any Contractor for items unclear or omitted from the Contract Documents, unknown job conditions excepted. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders. Glenville State University reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informalities.
