Babcock Road Reconstruction and Widening Scope The Babcock Road project will reconstruct and widen the roadway from its existing configuration of 1 lane in each direction with a intermittent turn lane, into two lanes in each direction with a two-way center turn lane. Sidewalk along the west side will be improved. A SUP exists along the park on the east side, so a crossing will be installed to provided better access to the park and lighting will be installed along that existing SUP. Additionally, some above ground drainage work will be done to improve water flow across the roadway into the adjacent creek. Construct roadway improvements to include sidewalks, curbs, driveway approaches, drainage, and other improvements as applicable and within available funding.
