Renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The contractor shall provide a rental boiler and deaeration (DA) tank system to support the heating and domestic hot water needs of the VA Medical Center during the replacement of the existing boiler plant. The rental system must include a 400 HP low-pressure steam boiler, a DA tank with a minimum 1,000-gallon capacity, and all necessary accessories such as feedwater pumps, chemical feed systems, blowdown separators, and safety devices. The system must be skid-mounted, pre-piped, and pre-wired for quick installation and operation. The contractor is responsible for delivery, setup, startup, and training of VA personnel. The rental period is expected to last approximately six months, with the possibility of extension. Location: VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington, DC 20422. All questions shall be submitted in writing to natasha.hawkins@va.gov no later than September 19, 2025 1:00 pm EST.
