No definite date for the rebid.** Scope of Services The City of Indian Wells maintains two signature fountains at the entrance to the Resort Campus, originally constructed in the 1980s. These fountains now require substantial upgrades to their architectural elements, plumbing, and electrical systems. Each fountain operates from an underground vault housing critical infrastructure, with surface-level electrical switches controlling the equipment. To modernize the fountains, the City plans to relocate all plumbing and electrical components--including four fountain pumps--above ground. Additional improvements include: o Replacement of deteriorated plaster surfaces o Upgrading architectural stone to a chemical-resistant material o Enhancing underwater lighting for improved visibility and aesthetics These upgrades will preserve the fountains' iconic presence while ensuring long-term durability and performance.
