Concrete Pavement 7 Barco Miller Bituminous Concrete Pavement: The work under this item is to consist of the production, testing, transportation and placement of smooth and dense bituminous concrete mixture(s) with a uniform texture for: o a new binder course atop a prepared roadway base; o a new wearing course atop a new binder course; o a new wearing course (cap) atop an existing paved surface; o a new wearing course atop an existing pavement structure which has been brought to proper grade and cross-section by milling. The Town of Wallingford intends to engage the services of a qualified and competent heavy highway contractor to perform paving, milling and curbing installation at various locations, including public roads and parking areas, in the Town of Wallingford. The work is anticipated to be completed in two separate efforts in "Fall 2025" and "Spring 2026". The qualified and competent contractor will possess the necessary equipment and manpower to effectively and efficiently perform all required assignments under this contract. The contractor will need to demonstrate a successful history of completion on similar projects and assignments. Unit bid prices shall include all mobilization and de-mobilization costs. Traffic control will be provided by the Town of Wallingford.
