Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Callaway, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City of Callaway will receive sealed proposals from individuals or firms to provide Construction, Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Services for the West Sidewalk Project a federally funded project with assistance from the Florida Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. Proposers must be FDOT Prequalified in Work Type 10.1 Roadway Construction Engineering Inspection. The project includes the CE&I services for construction of approximately 0.50 miles of ADA compliant, six-foot wide concrete pedestrian sidewalk along the northern ROW of West Cherry Street from North Bob Little Road to Tyndall Parkway in coordination with FDOT through a Local Agency Program (LAP) agreement. Additional project components include crosswalk striping, detectable warnings, signage, landscaping, and pedestrian handrail. Interested firms shall not contact, lobby or otherwise communicate with any City of Callaway staff member, including any member of the City Commissioners, except the above referenced individual from the point of advertisement of the solicitation, until contract(s) are executed by all parties. Any such communication shall result in disqualification from consideration for award of a contract for these services. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
