Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Oak Park, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
As of October 13, 2025, bids received rejected as they were over the budget. Project will be rebid in January. The project consists of the full installation of all HVAC equipment, necessary ductwork, electrical work, existing geothermal well manifold hookups and components. The Park District invites sealed bidders' proposals for the Work related to the Cheney Mansion Geothermal HVAC project described in this Bid Package and generally described as follows: Cheney Mansion is located at 220 N, Euclid Ave., Oak Park, Illinois. Cheney Mansion is owned by the Park District of Oak Park. The Geothermal HVAC Installation at Cheney Mansion generally includes the following: Removal of existing duct work, selective demolition, installation of new duct work, plumbing, electrical, equipment and associated piping, pipe hookup to well manifold, and wiring necessary for the complete installation of the geothermal HVAC system.
