Demolition and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Oak Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
As of November 13, 2025, project is not yet awarded. The anticipated start date is between March 15th and April 1st. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Site grading, Site utilities, Concrete Paving and Curbs, Decorative Pavement, Splash Pad, Play and Fitness Equipment installation, Site Furnishing installation, Landscape Features and Planting, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Questions will be answered in the form of written addenda and provided to all Bidders, as per State of Illinois statutes. Submit questions regarding the bid in writing to Jennifer Kelliher at j.kelliher@planres.com no later than 12:00PM on October 21, 2025. The Park District of Oak Park seeks bids for selective demolition and playground, splash pad, courts, and hardscape renovations at Longfellow Park. Only bids in compliance with the bidding specifications will be considered. Minority and Women Owned businesses are strongly encouraged to participate.
