Lift Station Piping and Check Valve Replacement All bids must be accompanied by proposal guaranty in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check, or Bidders Bond drawn to the order of Fort Bend County MUD No. 25, and in the minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after receipt of bids except with the approval of Owner. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid from any responsible person which will be most advantageous to it and result in the best and most economical completion of the Work. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in full amount of the contract. The deadline to ask questions is 10/10/2025 12:00 PM CST Removal and replacement of discharge piping, check valves, plug valves, fittings, and supports at multiple lift stations and detention pond pump stations within the District. o Replacement of piping and valve assemblies (sizes ranging from 4" to 12") at Lift Stations 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12, and at Detention Pond Pump Stations 1 and 2. o Blasting and recoating of existing piping, valves, and fittings to extend service life. o Sequenced construction to maintain lift station operation, with only one pump taken offline at a time. o Temporary bypass pumping may be required at certain stations (Nos. 2, 4, 7, 8, and 10). These are included as Additive Alternate bid items, not part of the Base Bid. • The intent is to replace aging valve and piping infrastructure while minimizing operational disruptions at each site.
