Existing poles to remain. Delta State University is issuing a Request for Bid for the installation of new LED Sports lights at the baseball and softball fields. Scope of work covers two (2) fields and shall consist of removal of the existing sports light equipment and the installation of new crossarms, and fixtures with factory installed wiring in crossarms, fusing, termination boxes, and all connections. All work will take place in a manner that minimizes disruption to school and sports seasons and should be completed no later than January 23, 2026. A lump sum price for both facilities will be listed by the vendor on the bid sheet. The scope of work for the Baseball stadium lighting is as follows: Remove existing fixtures at top of poles. New pole top luminaire assemblies with factory installed whips, pole length harnesses, fusing, termination boxes, connectors, and any other alterations to the lighting structure where needed to accommodate the new system. o Field to be lit with MUSCO Light structure system.o Light levels of 70 footcandles in infield and 50 footcandles in outfield. o Installation of new switches and standard controls at incoming electrical feed as well as new breakers as needed.
