Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Campbell River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The scope of work comprises of the supply and installation of a diesel stationary generator within the parking lot, together with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) in the electrical room. The work includes the removal/disposal of existing equipment, relocation of lighting contact boxes, rerouting of feeders and breakers, and provision of all associated electrical connections and terminations. Fire alarm integration, data cabling, and installation of a remote annunciator within the manager’s office form part of the scope. Civil works shall include trenching, underground ductwork, cast-in-place concrete foundation, sidewalk restoration, subsurface scanning, and all permits required for excavation. Protective steel bollards, chain link fencing, and all necessary architectural repairs, including painting, shall be provided to restore affected areas upon completion of construction. Award is subject to final approval.
