The project will provide improved ride quality on McKinley Parkway from Quinby Drive to Southwestern Boulevard, for a distance of 2.03 miles, by cold milling and placement of a multi-course overlay. The drainage system will be improved throughout the corridor with the installation of underdrain along the inside shoulders adjacent to the median in select locations. Existing curb ramps will be upgraded to meet current standards, as well. The traffic signal at the intersection of McKinley Parkway, Bayview Road, and Sowles Road will be replaced, and pedestrian facilities will be installed at the traffic signal at the intersection of McKinley Parkway, Tops Driveway and Napa Driveway. Bidders certified check, as bid deposit, payable to the County of Erie in the amount of $260,000.00 (two hundred and sixty thousand dollars) required in sealed bid submission. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the Special Instructions and Special Specifications accompanying the Itemized Proposal, including but not limited to Federal, State and County contract forms, Federal Non-Collusion and Lobbying Activities Forms, NYSDOL Certificate of Contractor Registration, NYS Uniform Contracting Questionnaire and Vendor Responsibility Form CCA-2 A/B/C, OSHA Training certifications, Davis-Bacon Federal and/or NYSDOL Minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the proposed contract, and the schedules as certified for the particular contract.
