Renovation of an office development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 90,000-square-foot, six-story above grade office development.
The Boston Redevelopment Authority ("BRA") d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency ("BPDA"), by its Chief Procurement Officer is pleased to issue this Request for Qualifications entitled "China Trade Center Roof Replacement" (the "RFQ"). Questions on this RFQ: Please submit any and all questions by October 15, 2025 tothe BPDA Procurement Office at planningprocurement@boston.gov and Jack Toland/ Real Estate at Jack.Toland@boston.gov / RealEstateCC@Boston.gov. Vendors will receive copies of all questions and responses by October 23, 2025 Project Summary This project is to design a roof replacement of the China Trade Building locatedat 2BoylstonSt. The project will upgrade an aged roof system with a new warrantied roof, additional insulation, repairstojoists and roof structure, safety updates to roof perimeter and skylights, andany modificationsrequiredto the roof equipment and skylights to accommodate the additional roof thickness. Theserviceswillinclude a site investigation, construction documents, bid assistance, and constructionadministration
