3.0T MRI Upgrade Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Project Number 263-CP23009, located at Bldg M-First Floor, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, 751 South Bascom Avenue, San Jose, CA 95128 THE WORK .A The Work will consist of: Project includes the upgrade of the existing 3.0T MRI Room at the ground floor of bldg. M. The magnet will remain, but all other components are upgraded. The existing Radiofrequency (RF) shielding will be replaced, as the existing does not provide adequate shielding. All new finishes are provided in the Magnet Room, adjacent Anteroom and Control Room. Existing equipment room is upgraded with new equipment to support the new MRI. Work is required in adjacent electrical and mechanical rooms and on the basement level to support the new equipment. Equipment upgrades in basement include new vacuum pump system for WAGD, added humidification, Heat exchanger for cooling and new electrical panel. The scope of work of this contract consists of, but not limited to, furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for the construction and renovation of rooms 1M021, 1M021A, 1M021B, 1M021C.
