OKDOT - 300 - Grade, Drain, Bridge, and Surface - SH080 The project consists of relocating existing pipelines with new pipes and tying them to existing facilities. The mains will generally be installed with 48" of cover, except where plans or local conditions require greater depth. When tying into existing facilities, there will be a transition in depth. Road crossings must be sleaved, including and have end seals, per the ODOT permit, and are identified on the plans. All paved streets, roads, and drives must be bored. This work shall include all services, equipment, materials, and labor for the complete and proper installation, testing, and restoration of underground utilities and environmental protection and restoration. This project is subject to "Buy American" requirements. The contractor shall provide certification of all steel materials required for this project before installation. All new pipes will be tested with air for a minimum of 4 hours with a minimum pressure of 100 psi and a maximum pressure of 145 psi. All tie-ins must be leak-checked at operating pressure. The contractor shall document and provide material certifications and a location map before HPWA accepts the pipeline.
