Emergency Backup Power for Building A at the Kiwanis Ice Arena located at 6 Small World Drive, Saugerties, NY 12477 as described below. Supply and install a Kohler KG125 3-phase generator system "or approved equal" at a location within 30ft from the existing 400amp metering service supplied by the current CHG&E, 320 amp meter no. 21 289 895. o (1)- Kohler KG125R 3-phase 120/208 voltage Multi- Fuel LPG/Natural Gas generator. o (1)- Kohler RXT Series 400-amp Outdoor Automatic Transfer Switch (Service Disconnect) Model RXT-JFNC-400ASEQS3 o Accessories include battery & oil warming kits. Contact CHG&E company to disconnect power from the existing metering service to allow for generator equipment installation. Remove load side wires from existing 320 meter pan that are currently feeding the exterior nema 3R distribution panel. Supply and install recommended size copper feeders from the load side of the existing 3-phase meter pan to the line side of the 400amp service rated transfer switch. Supply and install recommended size copper feeders from the load side of the transfer switch to the location of the nema 3R distribution panel replacing the feeders that were removed. Supply and install recommended size copper feeders from the main breaker located in the generator and terminate them in the service rated transfer switch on the proper lugs for emergency back-up power. Supply and install recommended size control wiring from the generator to the transfer switch. NOTE: All power and control wiring to be installed in an approved size raceway. A third-party electrical inspection for the wiring of the generator equipment to be included as per CHG&E and Building Department requirements.
