The project will also include a new patio cover at the northwest corner of the existing building and upgrades to existing pedestrian walkways to meet current ADA standards, as well as include modifications to the existing parking lot and landscape areas, as shown on the project plans. The City previously exercised its right to terminate the original construction contract and is now seeking a Prime Contractor to complete the remaining work. The remaining work includes, but is not limited to: demolition, removals, compaction, foundation footings, erection/aligning and welding of structural steel, construction of CMU walls, slab on grade; installing a patio cover and supports, rough and finish plumbing, rough and finish electrical; rough and finish mechanical; exterior cladding; exterior and interior glazing, fire sprinklers and fire suppression systems; doors and hardware; gypsum board walls; miscellaneous metals, painting; flooring; toilet partitions; excavation; conduit, site utilities that include domestic water, fire water, sewer, telephone, cable, gas connections and other related utilities and connections; irrigation and landscaping, site hardscape; recycling of materials; preparation of redline as-built drawings, O&M manuals and other related work described in the Special Provisions including all parts of the Technical Provisions, Detailed Provisions and as shown and required in the Contract Documents to achieve Final Completion. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
