SCOPE OF WORK to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of replacement of two submersible pumps with larger pumps, including valving and piping, and associated electrical and instrumentation and control components and the possible repainting of existing piping and valving. LAST TIME FOR QUESTIONS to be taken from Contractors is 10:00am, Thursday, October 16, 2025. EACH BIDDER is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Upon award of the contract, the contractor shall provide a Contract Bond to the City (l00% of the Bid Amount). The City of Mason reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Mason reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. LOCATION AND SCOPE OF WORK The Project consists of one prime contract for replacement of two submersible pumps with larger pumps, including valving and piping, and associated electrical and instrumentation and control components and the repainting of existing piping and valving. The Project is located 3200 Mason Morrow Millgrove Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The summary of the Work described in this Section is an overall summary of the responsibilities of the CONTRACTOR and the CONTRACTOR's relationship to the OWNER. It does not supersede the specific requirements of the other Contract Documents. In addition to the standards included in these Contract Documents, all work shall comply with the following: 1. Project Technical Specifications. 2. State of Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Material Specifications. CONTRACTOR's attention is directed to the requirements of the Sections of Division 1 - General Requirements. These general requirements complement the related specific work specified in Division 2 through Division 40 although Division 1 Sections are not directly referenced in the Sections of Division 2 through Division 40. All requirements of Division 1 through Division 40 are binding on the CONTRACTOR and are not exclusive of each other. ENGINEER shall resolve all disputes and provide clarifications and interpretations as stated in Article 9 of the General Conditions.
