Question Deadline 01/15/2026 All Addenda will be issued, except as hereinafter provided, and mailed or otherwise issued to persons who have obtained Contract Documents for the Project, at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the published time for the opening of bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. Abatement activities will commence at 7:00 AM on June 1, 2026, and must be completed no later than 4:00 PM on Friday June 5, 2026. Post-abatement clearance activities and air sampling will be conducted by a Third Party immediately upon the completion of abatement activities. Removal and disposal of the following asbestos-containing material (ACM) from the 1962 Original Building Construction section of the Warren County ESC Western Row Campus located at 755 Western Row Road, Mason, OH (Project Site): Approximately 10,704 square feet of asbestos-containing 9" x 9" VAT floor tile and mastic, including ALL layers of flooring (e.g., VCT, carpet) and cove base installed over ACM flooring (Class II Flooring Activity) Hanging board mastic associated with 56 hanging boards (e.g., chalk boards, tack boards, marker boards), including associated hardware, framing, and furring (Class II Activity). Approximately 28 doors assumed to contain asbestos-containing inner cores (Class II Activity) Sealed bids are requested for the Abatement Project at the Western Row Campus for Warren County ESC, located at 755 Western Row Road, Mason, OH 45040. Bids are for the Abatement Contract (Single Prime) with a probable total construction cost of $125,000. Bids must cover all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and services required to complete the project as specified. Bidders must submit sealed bids containing the name of every interested person and meet the requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bid must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including add alternates), or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening. The owner may waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and review the responsibility of any bidder.
