Del Prado WRF Injection Well Pump Station Upgrades A. The Work in this Contract shall include but not limited to the following activities: 1. Demolition of the existing pumps and electrical controls at the injection well pump station. 2. Modification of the existing piping at the injection well. 3. Installation of five new pumps and piping at the new injection well pump station. 4. Abandonment of the existing piping from the existing pump station to the injection well by removal and abandonment in place by grouting. 5. Installation of new piping and pipe supports from the new injection well pump station to the injection well. 6. New pre-engineered, prefabricated electrical VFD building with concrete foundation. 7. New electrical power, controls, etc. for the new pump station. 8. Abandonment and modification of the existing electrical power, controls, etc. The Contractor shall refer to the entire Contract Documents for a more complete description of the Work. All Bid Bonds, Performance and Payment Bonds, Insurance Contracts and Certificates of Insurance shall be either executed by or countersigned by a Florida licensed agent of the surety or insurance company doing business in the State of Florida. Further, the said surety or insurance company shall be duly licensed and qualified to do business in the State of Florida. Attorneys-in-fact that sign Bid Bonds or Performance and Payment Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder shall, as applicable, hold or obtain such contractor's and business licenses, certifications and registrations as required by State statutes and local ordinances. Before a contract will be awarded for the work contemplated herein, the FGUA shall conduct such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low Bidder to perform the size and type of work specified in the Bidding Documents. Upon request, the Bidder shall submit such information as deemed necessary by the FGUA to evaluate the Bidder's qualifications. The Successful Bidder shall be required to fully complete all Work to be performed pursuant to this invitation to bid within 395 calendar days from and after the Commencement Date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The FGUA reserves the right to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents, and to postpone the award of the contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 90 days from the bid opening date.
