The Town of Shrewsbury Highway Division seeks snow plow contractors for the 2025-2026 winter season. All interested contractors must submit applications in conformance with the"Information for Contractors, Requirements and Specifications for Snow and Ice Removal & Snow Hauling Operations" Contractors and equipment must be available for the entire winter season on a 24 hour a day basis and will be responsible for plowing specific routes within the Town. HIGHER RATES AND BONUSES ARE BEING OFFERED THIS SEASON. Hourly rates will be based on the width of the plow and the gross vehicle rating of the equipment furnished. If a Contractor and the Town enter into a fully executed contract by 10:00 AM on October 17, 2025, that Contractor will be awarded a sign-on bonus of $1,000 per each piece of equipment they will be using.This request for Contractors is exempt from typical procurement procedures under M.G.L. Ch.30B 1(b)(17)
