The City of Ontario is soliciting requests for proposals from qualified firms to provide porter services, building maintenance, and emergency building maintenance as requested by the City of Ontario and the Symba Center staff. The selected consultant must arrive at the designated location promptly and adhere to the City's standards. They should be equipped with all necessary supplies. Additionally, the chosen firm must be available to respond to service requests from the City or the Symba Center, both during and outside of regular business hours in the event of maintenance emergencies. The Consultant shall provide porter services and general maintenance services, which shall include, but not be limited to: • Respond in a timely manner to maintenance requests from the Symba Center Staff and City of Ontario. • Provide all major exterior and interior maintenance • Debris removal • Repair of property, including: o Roof repair o Walls o Foundations o Plumbing; including plumbing upgrades needed to provide shower and laundry on site o Lighting and related fixtures o Electrical o Air duct cleaning o HVAC filters and systems o Mechanical systems o Smoke detectors o Elevators (if any) o Fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, and other systems, such that the Property at all times is fully functional as habitable living quarters for clients and office space. • Responsible for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of all fixtures and equipment necessary for the operation and functioning of the Property, including but not limited to furnishings, appliances, and any other items essential for client use and comfort • Maintain and repair guest-room furniture, fixtures, and equipment (e.g., beds, televisions, and refrigerators) at the Property provided to clients in connection the Wellness Center.
