As of October 3, 2025, project is cancelled. The Coos County Fair Board plans to re-solicit this project in the near future. Coos County is soliciting bids from qualified, licensed, and bonded contractors for the construction of a new covered Pole Barn Pavilion at the Coos County Fairgrounds, Myrtle Point, Oregon. The project consists of a 40' x 60' (approximately 2,400 sq. ft.) timber frame pavilion, to be built in its entirety, and includes site preparation, concrete foundations, timber frame erection, roofing, water service, and finishes, in accordance with the project plans prepared by Timber Frame Headquarters (TFHQ), with supporting geotechnical recommendations by Strata Design, LLC. All work must be completed in accordance with County requirements and be inspected for approval by the Coos County Fair Board. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and permits necessary to complete the required work in a safe manner.
