Question Deadline 10/24/2025- Discrepancies, omissions, or questions about the intent of the documents should be submitted to the Purchasing Division in written form as a request for interpretation no later than five (5) calendar days prior to bid opening (or shall be verbally addressed at the pre-bid conference). It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a licensed Contractor for the services required to complete all necessary repairs/replacements associated with the Well #9 pump, motor, and electrical disconnect. Estimated Budget is: $42,580. It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a licensed Contractor for the services required to complete all necessary repairs/replacements associated with the Well #9 pump, motor, and electrical disconnect at the Burnt Store Water Treatment Plant, located at 17430 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, Florida 33955. SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor required to complete the necessary replacement of the existing pump and disconnect listed above to include, but not be limited to: o Salt down well to stop artesian flow o Pull well pump and motor o Conduct static video log of well o Complete all necessary repairs to wellhead and associated piping down to underground flange o Supply and install new well pump, motor, wiring, and new well seals and gaskets o New pump to be the equivalent of the existing pump o Replace existing electrical disconnect o Test operation of well pump o Chlorinate well o Ensure that no chlorine remains before any water is routed to the treatment plant A. Well #9 data: The following data is for Well 9 at Burnt Store Water Treatment Plant: o Well depth - 642 feet o Well Pump depth - 150 feet o Current pump Grundfos #300N200-5 o Current motor Franklin 2366154020, 25 hp o Stainless steel o 4- inch pump diameter and drop pipe B. Electrical disconnect data: o Schneider Electric heavy duty, non-fusible o NEMA 4X o 60A, 3-wire, 3-pole o 60Hp o 600V o 304 stainless steel Local licenses required: Certified/Registered General, Certified/Registered Master Plumber, or Certified/Registered Underground Utility.
