The Butte County Resource Conservation District (BCRCD), in collaboration with the Plumas National Forest Feather River Ranger District, is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide services for mechanical fuels reduction and hand treatments with the intent of reintroducing beneficial fire within the Camp Fire Footprint. Contract objectives are to reduce fuel loads and competing vegetation in a Spotted Owl Protected Activity Center (PAC) while enhancing the overall health of the stand. Question Submission: Monday, September 22nd at 5:00 PM. Contractors may submit questions by email to julia@bcrcd.org before Monday. September 22nd at 5:00 PM. All pertinent questions will be answered and shared via email with all of the other contractors who attended the mandatory pre-proposal site visit. The Contractor understands and agrees that it has a duty to inquire about and clarify any RFP questions that the Contractor does not fully understand or believes may be interpreted in more than one way. The BCRCD, however, is not required to answer questions that are not pertinent to the RFP or are considered to be proprietary information. Questions will be answered by Thursday, September 25th.
