Renovation of a detention facility in Kingston, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, as currently amended if bid price exceeds $25,000. If bidding over $25,000 a 5% bid bond is required. WORK INCLUDED A. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment, and perform all work to construct the HVAC Modifications to Roane County Juvenile Center as specified herein and shown on the accompanying drawings. The work shall be constructed complete and ready for occupancy, except for the items specifically excluded in "Work Not Included". B. The work shall include: 1. Removal of existing ceiling lights and selected ductwork. 2. Providing and installing ceilings, lights, ductwork and air distribution. 4. Perform all work required to accomplish demolition and disposal of existing equipment as may be required. C. The owner shall have first right of refusal on equipment to be removed. D. Provide all cutting and patching of existing walls, ceiling, floors and roofs required. E. The contractor must provide a one year labor warranty and provide all manufacturer warranties to owner. F. Contractor must provide Certification of Insurance naming Roane County as an additional insured, showing all coverage including workman's compensation, general liability, and automotive liability and the amounts for each. G. Contractor is responsible for project safety. H. Contractor must follow all OSHA and TOSHA requirements Specifications.Contractor must follow all Roane County Title VI Guidelines if employees are hired as the result of the project. J. Contractor must provide DUNS number and any sub-contractors DUNS numbers. All questions concerning the solicitation are to be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department.
