Reference Number 0000399302 - Stormwater Quality Improvement Retrofits storm and sanitary sewer improvements to provide and install storm drain & sewer piping, stormwater retrofit BMP's, and additional associated stormwater infrastructure at three locations in and around the Sabin Point Park: Locust St., Narragansett Ave, & Middle St., East Providence, Rhode Island. The work required by these specifications shall include furnishing all labor, skill, supervision, tools, construction plant, equipment and materials, and performing all operations necessary to properly complete the contract work as shown on the Drawings, as mentioned in these specifications, and as evidently required, to the complete satisfaction of the City and the Engineer. The work, in general, consists of the following: 1. Surveying and staking for project limits and control. Installation of erosion and sedimentation control measures 2. Clearing and grubbing. 3. Demolition of existing storm and sanitary sewer infrastructure, pavement, concrete sidewalks and other features. 4. Temporary relocation of playground equipment within Sabin Point Park. 5. Excavation and installation of new sanitary and storm sewer piping and structures. 6. Installation of new stormwater BMPs: gravel wetlands, water quality swale, and sand filter. 7. Fine grade all disturbed areas. 8. Install new lighting posts/poles, paving, guardrails and other site specific necessities as part of final restoration. 9. Excess soil management in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. 10. Clean and flush all drain pipes. 11. Loam, plant, and seed the water quality swale, gravel wetland, sand filter and other disturbed areas..
