The Public Works Department (PWD) oversees city-wide building maintenance and the execution of capital improvements through the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which includes Local, State, and Federal grants. PWD projects encompass a wide range of initiatives, including, but not limited to, the following: _ New Construction Projects: including the construction of single and multi-story commercial buildings such as community centers, gymnasiums, fire and police stations, libraries, municipal facilities, and more. _ Renovation and Maintenance: Projects for the renovation and upkeep of all city buildings and parks facilities, including playgrounds, sports courts, sports lighting, and other related infrastructure. _ Master Planning: This includes park renovations, the construction of new parks, tenant improvements, and the development of new facilities. _ Seismic Retrofitting. _ Central Plant Replacements. _ Elevator Replacements. To facilitate the design and construction of these and similar projects, the City plans to enter into a professional services agreement with one or more full-service Architectural, Engineering, and Project Management/Construction Management (PM/CM) firms with subconsultants. These firms will provide professional support during the procurement, design, and construction phases of the proposed projects. Firms must demonstrate relevant experience and expertise in the service areas outlined in the "Scope of Services" section of this RFQ. In addition, they must have adequate and readily available resources, including qualified personnel, support staff, specialized subconsultants, and financial capacity-to deliver services efficiently and without delay. The City seeks well-established firms with proven technical capabilities, effective project management, and a strong commitment to customer service. The City intends to establish a roster of pre-qualified consultants for each service category. The City will enter into a three (3) year on-call contract with these firms, with the option to extend the contract annually for up to two (2) additional years, as needed.
