BASE SCOPE OF WORK BID PROPOSAL, to include, but not limited to: 1. Walls - painting, batt insulation, drywall installation, finishing and prep 2. Finished Carpentry w/Painting - doors, windows 3. HVAC - Duct work and wrap replacement as needed, unit cleaning and testing 4. Windows and doors -repair and/or replacement 5. Painting/Sealing - clean floor underlayment, sealing, prepping b. Flooring and base 7. Ceiling - suspended systems 8. Electrical and lighting Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashiers or Certified Check, in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid submitted, and payable to Black River Technical College, must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the Amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract. All proposals must contain a letter of intent from an insurance company authorized to do business in the State of Arkansas, stating its willingness to insurance the Company pursuit to terms of any contract arising from the proposal. The Bidder awarded the contract will be required to submit Proof of Commercial Liability Insurance. All bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board. No bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and waive any formalities in Bids received, not bound by Arkansas statutes. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Award will be based upon those considerations which are in the best interest of the Owner, and will be made to the responsive, responsible Bidder whose bid is judged to be the most effective for the requirements and specifications stated in the Invitation for Bids. Proposals which fail to comply fully with any provision of the Bid Documents will be considered invalid and will not receive consideration.
