Complete demolition of designated portion of existing metal building with wood framed roof system, except for existing concrete floor slab to remain. Demolition of metal roof and wall panels back to existing rediron building framing on remainder of the building. Includes demolition of overhead and walk doors. Construct new exterior wall to enclose north side of existing building as described on bid documents. Provide and install new prefinished metal roof panels and wall panels on existing building frame / subframe. Includes all new trims, fascias, gutters, downspouts accessories, etc. in standard color-group 2. Includes new overhead doors, walk-thru doors, frames and trim. Those purchasing Contract Documents are responsible for the cost of shipping and handling, if necessary. For the mutual protection of the Owner, Contractor, and Architect, no partial sets of Contract Documents will be issued, in either hard copy or electronic format. A Pre-Bid conference will NOT be held prior to bid opening. L. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashiers or Certified Check, in an amount equal to 5%of the Bid submitted, and payable to Black River Technical College, must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptlyenter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the Amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract. Black River Technical College is requesting SEALED bids from Qualified Licensed General Contractors for the furnishing of materials, labor, equipment, tools, accessories, and supervision necessary for completing the above referenced project. The Bidder awarded the contract will be required to submit Proof of Commercial Liability Insurance. All bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board. All Bids will be taken under advisement for review. C. Bids shall be submitted on the form provided by the Architect, and are to be delivered in a sealed opaque envelope clearly identifying the Project Name, Bidder's name, Bidder's address, and Bidder's current Arkansas Contractor's license number on the front.
