The project consists of masonry restoration, repointing and cleaning of the exterior brick and stone masonry for the Randolph County Courthouse. All biddersare encouraged to make inspections and studies of the site of the work to familiarize them selves with all conditions to be encountered. Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors. All contractors must be licensed on the day of the bid submittal. According to the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board, this project will require a contractors license. There shall be only one bid submitted per State Contractors license. Bidders will be required to indicate license number on bid form beneath signature when bidding $20,000.00or more. Bid security is required in the form of a Bid Bond or cashiers check drawn upon a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, in an amount equal to 5% of the contract sum, and payable to the Randolph County Quorum Court Arkansas Statutory Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract. The County reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed to serve the best interest of the County.
