Renovation of a municipal facility in Princess Anne, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of November 7, 2025, No Award, Anticipated award date is November 18, 2025 Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Replacement Somerset County, Maryland The Somerset County Commissioners are currently accepting bids from qualified vendors to procure and install a replacement UPS at the Somerset County Department of Emergency Services Public Safety Answering Points (located in our radio room). The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All questions and clarifications regarding the Request for Proposal must be submitted in writing. Questions may be emailed to Yvette Cross, Director of Emergency Services at ycross@somersetmd.us. Verbal requests for clarification will not be accepted. Located in the P25 Radio Room of the Department, the existing UPS unit requires replacement. The current UPS unit is utilized as an emergency power source for the 911 Center's radio equipment. Upgrading the UPS unit will ensure the Department is prepared to operate during unplanned power outages until emergency generator power becomes functional. The Department seeks to: o Have the existing UPS unit disposed of. o Have the vendor supply and install replacement UPS unit which should be compatible with our buildings' electrical rating o The replacement UPS unit will meet the following specifications: o 18 kVA rating desirable o Battery Capacity that will allow for a runtime of at least 60 minutes at a 25% load, and if possible unit spec will not exceed average load rating of 15% max average. o An exception to the 18kv desired rating will be accepted in the proposal process but cannot exceed the current single unit floor space. (current UPS is a Liebert Nfinity 16kva Configured Model: N212S0712600). Averaging 39% load with an estimate run time of 46 minutes. Average Output: 239VAC/21A/4.9KVA. o Unit must support 208/240VAC Single Phase Input. 120/240VAC Single Phase Output o Scalable battery system design highly recommended/desired. o The UPS units will include a power off switch to be utilized for emergency disconnect o Use of the existing Maintenance Bypass Switch is desired. Vendor must verify UPS compatibility with Make-Before-Break Switch Model: BPE20-MBB-1A which is rated for 300 volts/125 Amps Single Phase with a MAX-OUT-OF-PHASE Voltage = 600 Volts. 4 o If proposed UPS model is not compatible with the above mentioned MBB Switch, a Maintenance Bypass with the following specifications are requested. 150-175 Amp breaker trip rating Wall mounted to attach to module with factory supplied cables Front access service design Top and bottom entry cable access
