As of June 22, 2021, this project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for University of Maryland College Park (UMD) to select an experienced Design-Build Contractor ("DBC" or "Contractor") for the design and construction of the Agriculture Research and Education Center at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), in Princess Anne, MD. Once a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is established, the DBC is at risk for the project cost, project schedule, trade contracts and all construction set forth in the construction documents. Contract Duration: Twenty four (24) months (Design NTP to Substantial Completion) The deadline for questions has been extended to MARCH 10, 2020 BY 5:00 P.M. All questions on this procurement are to be directed in writing to the Issuing Office SBR Designation: N/A Federal Funding: Yes The University reserves the right to cancel this RFP at any time before the date set for the receipt of proposals. The University reserves the right to reject either all proposals after the opening of the proposals but before award, or any proposal, in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of the University of Maryland. For the same reason, the University reserves the right to waive any minor irregularity in a proposal.
