Renovation of a municipal facility in Princess Anne, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of April 3,2024, project was awarded to Chesapeake Mission Critical, but awarded amount is not available. The Somerset County Department of Emergency Services is accepting competitive bids in an effort to replace two (2) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units. One unit is located at the MSP Princess Anne Tower Site, 30581 Perry Rd, Westover, MD 21871. The second unit is located at the Marion Tower Site, 28563 Hudson Corner Rd, Marion, MD 21838. With the general specifications, the intent will be to remove and replace the current UPS units with comparable units to suit the needs of the facility. All questions and clarifications regarding the Request for Proposal must be submitted in writing. Questions may be emailed to Yvette Cross, Director of Emergency Services at ycross@somersetmd.us. Verbal requests for clarification will not be accepted. All vendors which will be submitting proposals on this project must attend the pre-bid meeting described above and participate in the facility tours which will include the existing UPS at both the tower sites. Any party wishing to submit a proposal is highly encouraged to send appropriate representatives to this meeting. The proposal recommendation will be presented to the Somerset County Commissioners for bid approval. Bid award notifications will be made to the selected vendor
