This invitation is open to any interested and capable Proponents who are able to commit the necessary resources to meet the schedule and to complete this assignment on behalf of Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors. Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors requests the submission of proposals for: LEVEL 2 CONCRETE BRIDGE DECK TESTING AND INSPECTION CON0025378 (CONTRACT "A") CON0025379 (CONTRACT "B") Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors intends to execute two (2) contracts for the work, Contract "A" and Contract "B" respectively. The differentiating factor between the two (2) contracts is the total number of sites; all other requirements such as scope of work, qualifications, and deliverables are identical for both contracts. Contract "A" will contain approximately 110 to 136 bridge sites per year. Contract "B" will contain approximately 15 to 20 bridge sites per year. This is a Request for Proposal and not an Invitation to Tender. Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors reserves the right to: a) Request clarification from the Contractor on a proposal at any time during the evaluation process. b) Accept a proposal without negotiation. c) Reject a proposal without negotiation d) Negotiate changes in the Technical or Financial content of the successful proposal. No payment will be made by Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors for costs incurred in the preparation or submission of this proposal. Selection of the Consultant will be based on the best overall value to Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors and not necessarily the lowest cost estimate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
