Lancaster County is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive cleaning and janitorial services for the Department of Social Services (DSS) office located at 1837 Pageland Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720. The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and professional environment across all designated areas, including entrances, reception areas, hallways, offices, conference rooms, visitation rooms, restrooms, and breakrooms. Cleaning services must be performed during regular office hours unless otherwise scheduled with DSS staff. The scope of work includes daily tasks such as dusting surfaces, emptying and sanitizing trash receptacles, disinfecting high-touch areas, sweeping and mopping floors, and restocking restroom supplies provided by DSS. Weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning duties are also required, including vacuuming carpets and rugs, disinfecting furniture and equipment, buffing and spray buffing floors, and deep cleaning of all flooring surfaces. Annual floor maintenance, including stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning, will be billed separately. Vendors must demonstrate experience in custodial services, reliability, and the ability to meet detailed cleaning standards consistently. All services must align with the operational needs of DSS and support a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and clients. Question Submission Deadline:October 3, 2025, 3:00pm Lancaster County reserves the right to reject any or all Offers, to cancel a solicitation, to negotiate specific terms, conditions, and/or provisions on any contract that may arise from this solicitation or, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein as in the best interest of Lancaster County. No contractual obligation or liability on the part of the County shall exist unless and until a final contract is executed.
