**As of March 4, 2026, the project was awarded to Miles Resources, with an awarded amount of $978,484.14.** The Major Items of Work Include Grind and Overlay the Roadway and Install Ada Upgrades to Curb Ramps and Pedestrian Push Buttons, and Upgrade Vehicle Detection Infrastructure. The Proposed Bid Range for the Project is From $1,350,000 to $1,650,000. The Entire Project, Including Cleanup, Shall Be Physically Completed Within 45 Working Days. This Project is Funded by Federal Grants and City of Auburn Monies. Requirements Stipulated for Federal and Other Governmental Funding Have Been Incorporated Into the Contract Documents and Require Full Compliance by the Contractor and Any Subcontractor Hired by the Contractor. The Federal Small Business Enterprise (Fsbe) Requirements on This Project Are 11% Certified Fsbe. All Bid Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit in Cash, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Proposal Bond (Surety Bond) in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of Such Bid Proposal. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into Such Contract and Furnish Satisfactory Contract Bond Within the Time Stated in the Bid Documents, the Bid Deposit Shall Be Forfeited to the City of Auburn. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises Are Encouraged to Respond. The City of Auburn, in Accordance With the Provisions of Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.s.c. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Ensure That Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full and Fair Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, or National Origin in Consideration for an Award. the City Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, Waive Technicalities or Irregularities and to Accept Any Bid if Such Action is Believed to Be for the Best Interest of the City of Auburn *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
